Quinoa, pronounced ‘keen-wah’ is a seed which contains all eight essential amino acids, so it’s an excellent source of vegetable protein.
You can sprout quinoa, or cook it and use it like rice or cous cous.
In the winter I make a ‘warm salad’ which is a fresh salad with warm quinoa on top. Yum!
This one is quite superb I tried it plain in the salad then with homemade raspberry vinegar dressing –just gave it the final ‘lift’
