Hi ifthkare,

Congratulations at having a go with The Sedona Method!

It sounds as if perhaps you're not letting the feeling go fully before going on to the next feeling.

Suppose, for example, when you think f the thing that's bothering you, the feeling you have in the moment is anxiety. First you allow the feeling to be present as fully as you can, then you ask the releasing questions. If there's still anxiety there you welcome it again, and ask the releasing questions again. Keep repeating this welcoming and releasing until the anxiety is gone, or at least diminished.

Only then do you bring the issue to mind again, and see what other feeling is present for you. It could be anxiety again, which probably means there's more anxiety coming up to release.

So my suggestion is to slow it down, and move a step at a time. It's kind of like you're sweeping away the leaves - need to do so gently or you may stir them all up.

[I notice you said: "I stay with the feeling untill realeased as best as I can".

If the feeling goes before you've finished the questions, that's fine - no need to hold onto it. If you truly welcome the feeling it may go before even asking the releasing questions, though that usually takes a bit of practice, because we don't really believe it can be that easy!]

Does this help?

Chris, thanks, I get you now!

To help prepare for your maths exam, I suggest:
1. Find a quiet, undisturbed place
2. Take a few deep breaths to help your mind slow down.
3. Bring to mind 'preparing for your exam', and notice what feeling arises.
4. Follow the Quick Start for the Sedona Method to first welcome, and then release that feeling.
5. Notice the next feeling that arises, and repeat.
6. Aim to stay with your feelings as best you can.
6. Keep doing this until you feel lighter - then you will find you feel calmer about your exam, and you'll be able to tune into your inner guidance to find the best way to prepare.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your exam!

OK, yes . My question is that I want to hear the inner voice when I face some trouble ,for example ,next week is the maths exam but I don't know how to prepare ,usually I will follow my teacher's steps and do according to what he said, but sometimes I want to know what is the best part or action for me to take ,so I want some inspiration about the exam ,then I will follow my inner voice instead of my teachers' I know what I do want ? but i don't know what is the best action
