Abstract fractalThe One Command is a quick and easy way to manifest the improvement you’re seeking in your health. Using six easy steps you reprogramme your whole being to attract the health you seek.

You make your command while in the very relaxed theta state, so it comes from Source which has a much greater power and perspective than your mind.

Choose your command

First decide what you want to change about your health – this will be your ‘command’. The easy way to find your command is to identify something you don’t like and then turn it around to its opposite.

For example:

  • ‘I don’t want to be depressed any more’ might become ‘I feel light and joyful’.
  • ‘I’m fed up of having a sore back’ might become ‘My back is comfortable and working perfectly’.
  • ‘I can’t get back to sleep’ might become ‘I easily sleep through the night’.

Notice these commands use positive statements, stated in the present tense, and they are short and simple.

Once you’ve worded your command,  work through the following six steps of  The One Command, or if you prefer listen to my audio recording ‘A Delicious Moment of Commanding Health’.

1. Ground

Close your eyes. Wriggle your toes and imagine roots from the soles of your feet going deep into the earth. Allow the power and riches of the earth’s energy to rise through your feet and up your body into your heart.

2. Align

Allow the earth’s energy to radiate out from your heart. This aligns your purpose with the unconditional love of the universe.

3. Go to theta

With your eyes still closed, gently roll your eyeballs up so they are looking towards your eyebrows. You’ll probably feel your eyes flickering a little. This takes you into the slower theta brainwave of a deep meditative state.

Imagine a golden channel of light coming up through your body and out of the top of your head. Allow it to take your awareness out of the top of your head, through the ceiling, through the sky, through all the galaxies, right to the very edge of the universe, where all is velvety black. Notice a speck of white light that draws you quickly to it, and allow yourself to pop through into the white luminescence of Source.

This is the place of infinite possibilities, where you can create anything you want.

4. Command

Silently say your command to yourself:
I don’t know how, I <<insert your command here>>,  I only know I do so now, and I am grateful.

‘I don’t know how’ is a very powerful phrase, because it cuts off your negative thinking.

5. Expand

Pause and allow your command to expand into its full capacity. Be receptive to any insights you may receive from the larger perspective of the universe/source/God. Silently say ‘thank you’.

6. Receive with gratitude

Now relax your eyes, and allow the energy of your command to download its way into every part of your body, every organ, every cell, right into your DNA. Unwind, unwind, unwind as your old limiting beliefs and conditioning dissolve away. Rewind, rewind, rewind, as you allow your command to filter into every cell, and every strand of your DNA.

Become aware of your body again, and your feet on the ground. When you’re ready open your eyes. How do you feel now?

Your command is complete; you have downloaded a new programme into your neurology. Unlike affirmations you don’t need to repeat your command.

Should any doubt or uncertainty emerge about your command materialising, simply meet it in the moment, by turning it to its opposite (which will be a positive statement) and making another command.  You may need to command on several doubts as they surface.

For example:

If you start to think ‘My back is still sore, I don’t think this is working’, do a new command along the lines ‘I don’t know how, I believe this process works for me, I only know I do now, and I am grateful.

Like most things The One Command gets quicker and easier with practice. To help you get started, you may like to listen to my audio.

  1. Thank you so much for your quick response May, you are truly an ispiration. Just one quick question about your answer, do I do the two commands in the same session? If so would it be in the sequence of your second command first and the first one after. You know what I mean, I’m talking about saying “I don’t know how I feel about my husband’s good health………..” and then in the same session go on to command “I don’t know how the husband in me has good health……..’
Thanks an awful lot for getting back to me.
    Sa

  2. I’m reading the book, and it’s incredible. However the one question that I can’t find an answer to is if doubts arise the book says to tun it to its opposite and issue your command. My question is does this countercommand also need to be done while in the theta state? As an example if money isn’t flowing in, and doubts arise, the book will say to give a counter command like, “I don’t know how money is flowing in when I didn’t think this works, but it is and I’m gratefu. can countercommands be issued as affirmations, or is it better to also give them in the theta state. Thanks…

    • George, Yes, all commands are done in the theta state.

For your example, I’d suggest positive wording, that’s the opposite of “I don’t think this works”, along the lines:
I don’t know how I’m super confident this Commanding works (for money to flow in), I only know it does now and I’m grateful

If your doubt is about The One Command working in general, I’d miss out the bit in brackets, as the first thing you need to do is address your doubt about The One Command working.

However, if you’re having success with Commanding for other things, but not for money, then I’d include the bit in brackets.

      Hope this helps.

    • Thank you very much for your answer May. I forgot to ask if you can make more than just one command while in theta, or if it’s better to limit yourself to one single command per session rather than several for added potency. Thank you for your feedback.

      • Yes, George you can make more than one Command while in theta! This is more advanced Commanding, so something to try once you’re quite comfortable making a single Command.

For me, when I make my Command in theta, further Commands that are different aspects of the same topic often surface into my awareness, so I Command on each one as it arises before leaving theta. This is sometimes known as making ‘stacked’ Commands. For example:

        • I don’t know how I explain this clearly, I only know I do so know and I’m grateful, prompted:
        • I don’t know how I let the words flow to me, I only know I do so know and I’m grateful, prompted:
        • I don’t know how I’m open to insights, I only know I do so know and I’m grateful.

I’ve found that when I’m in theta, and the place of all possibilities, the Commands that emerge take me to deeper Commands that ‘underlie’ the Command I started with, so stacked Commands take me to the ‘root’ of things – powerful stuff!

However, I always use separate sesssions for unrelated topics.

Let me know how it goes for you…

        • Thank you for your very prompt reply. Also,if you’ve already made the command in theta and you’re not noticing what you’ve asked for materializing, is it better to go into theta and reissue the same exact command again or is it better to go to theta and say something along the lines of,” I don’t know why I believe this works, I only know I do, and am fulfilled” Does it make a difference? Does commanding the same thing numerous times give it more potency, or can it hinder its arrival? Thank you once again.

  3. May, I’m totally grateful for your generous sharing. There’s one sentence above that I haven’t been able to make any sense of. Generally I think that I’m good at deriving meaning from the surrounding context, but the last word in this sentence has me confounded.
“Should any doubt or uncertainty emerge about your command materialising, simply meet it in the moment, by turning it to its opposite and makin.”
This is from Step 6, “Receive with gratitude,” in your One Command tutorial. Thanks for everything you do. Be well always, you and yours! Peace and Light!
    Joe

    • Joe, thanks for alerting me, I’ve now corrected the sentence, so it reads:

Should any doubt or uncertainty emerge about your command materialising, simply meet it in the moment, by turning it to its opposite (which will be a positive statement) and making another command.

      Happy Commanding!

  4. Is there a way that we can download the link you have or the 6 steps for one command. Thank you for the link, its easier for me if i am not sitting at computer and maybe somewhere more relaxed. I find it easier to listen to your recording then trying the 6 steps on my own. I am so thankful to have found this and try it out. I have done theta healing and EFT. What an amazing way to be who you want on your own ;) Thanks!!

  5. I was very excited to find the information on your blog. It seemed to come to me, as many things do, at just the right time. I have been learning and using EFT for about five months. I have tapped on several childhood issues and recently learned about the temporal tap. Sometimes I feel like I am making progress, sometimes not. I have read that you always make progress no matter what. I have been using the temporal tap on a dental issue for about one month. I really believed I was making progress, but then suddenly I had pain and bad infection. I do not want to lose the tooth. It was at that time that I found your info on The One Command. I felt this was my answer from within to heal my tooth. I followed the process , but the next day pain and infection had worsened. I had to go to the dentist. They gave me antibiotics and told me I would have to have pulled when infection cleared. My frustration seems to be that I get just the right answers, the then they don’t work. Am I doing something wrong? I always feel so positive about these things and without doubt. Any advice would be so helpful. I have felt so foolish for believing that I could heal the issue, to the point of avoiding the dentist and coming to the place of such pain. Blessings and Sunshine to you for your information!!!

    • Hi Marcy,

Well done! It sounds as if you’ve had some success clearing childhood issues with EFT.

Your experience with your tooth is a reminder that there are times when we need conventional medicine and dentists to help alleviate symptoms. This is why I think of healing as a ‘complementary’ rather than ‘alternative’.

I don’t think you did anything wrong, just that in this case you needed dental help as well as your self-healing.

Assuming you’re taking the antibiotics to help clear the infection, you still have time to see if you can heal your tooth enough so that it doesn’t have to be pulled – using EFT or The One Command.

Perhaps a command along the lines; ‘I don’t know how I keep my tooth, I only know I do now, and I am fulfilled’. And then follow up with more commands to turn round any doubts that arise, as detailed in my article ‘Three Ways To Ensure Your Command Blossoms’ http://delicioushealing.com/three-ways-to-ensure-your-one-command-blossoms/

I would certainly recommend you also follow up with your dentist.

      Joyfully, May

  6. Hello May
The One Command is a marvelous tool that blend in with various technique. I use TOC in many different ways applying the basic 6 steps. I have see wonderful things happen in my life and others as well. Thank you for laying down the process so simply and efficaciously.
    In appreciation and gratitude
    Bernard

  7. Hi May,

I loved what you wrote about the one command..I just want to know your opinion about Asara saying that to apply the one command we need to put 6 different papers of each step and step on them every time we move from one step to another..so do you think we can do it effectively by sitting and imagining and applying the steps..thanks

    • Kook,

Asara’s suggestion to step on a piece of paper for each step is helpful to deeply get the feel of the steps. It’s what I did myself at the start, but only once.

It’s by no means essential. Lots of people start making their Commands by hearing someone take them through the steps, as in my audio.

There’s no wrong way, so be playful and enjoy Commanding!

      Joyfully
      May

  8. Hello May:

Thank you so much for your insight and suggestions. I’m going to give both a whirl and will let you know the outcome.

    Kind Regards
    Mavis

  9. Thank you for sharing this information, May.
If I might ask one question, please?
I purchased the book and have tried to carry out the One Command, but feel like I’m “failing” at it
because the book also mentions that we should “feel” our energy shift as we proceed to carry out each of these steps. Yet I haven’t found this to be the case after three attempts.

Many Sincere Thanks for your feedback May.
    Regards
    Mavis

    • Mavis, great to hear you’re giving The One Command a go!

Some people are more aware of energy moving than others, so don’t worry if that’s not happening for you, your experience is unique, and the process is still working.

If you’re particularly keen to feel the energy shift, you could try a Command along the lines:
I don’t know how I feel the energy shift as I make my commands, I only know I do now, and I am fulfilled.

The real test is in seeing your Commands manifest. Once you’ve made your Command, if any doubts come up, you need to turn them into Commands, so they don’t block your original Command. My article ‘Three Ways To Ensure Your Command Blossoms‘ covers this.

When I learned to ride a bike, and years later to drive a car, it took many hours of practice until I felt comfortable riding or driving. Same with The One Command, the more you do it, the easier it gets!

      Hope this helps,
      May

  10. I appreciate these steps. I wanted to know how to do this and you made it easy. Thank-you. You presentation is so concise. I just did it right on the spot in the coffee shop where I was when I read the steps. My command:

I am alive and well and flourishing in all the areas of my life as I imagined desired and expected it to be so it is now all achieved most benevolently with harm to none, and Higher Self, and unseen friends, in the name of the GODdess.

I don’t know how, this all comes true, I only know it is now and I appreciate that wholeheartedly.

    With love and peace,

    JoreJj

    • JoreJj, I’m glad you found it helpful.

Here’s how we support each other in One Command Circles:

JoreJj, I absolutely know you are alive and well and flourishing in all the areas of your life as you imagined, desired and expected it to be so it is now all achieved most benevolently with harm to none, and Higher Self, and unseen friends, in the name of the GODdess, and I totally support you in this.

      Happy commanding!
      May

  11. i am usually good at visualization, but i don’t see the pin point of light and the bursting into the luminesse place.is that supposed to be imagined too?

    • Cindy, visualising the pinpoint of light, and bursting through into the luminescence is just one way to go into source. If another image comes to mind, I’d use that. Or, as you suggest, imagining bursting through will work fine too.

As with all technques, it’s your intention that’s important. Here your intention is to slip into source – please feel free to vary the imagery to suit you. You’ll probably notice a subtle change in your consciousness as you slip into source – for me it’s a sort of settling, calm feeling, for you it may be different.

There’s no right or wrong way to do The One Command – my Quick Start reflect’s Asara Lovejoy’s suggested method. Feel free to use it as a starting point and then develop your own variations.

Does this help? I’ll be interested to hear how you get on.

      May

      • I am not sure if I can request good health for my husband using TOC. He does not know about TOC and probably wont do it himself if he was taught.

        • Yes, SA you can! This is because we’re all connected, so there’s a part of your husband in you. Here’s how to word your Command:

I don’t know how the husband in me has good health, I only know it is so now and I’m grateful.

When helping others it’s also good to sort out our feelings about them, so you may want to start with a Command on how you feel about your husband’s poor health, eg:

I don’t know how I feel good about my husband’s health, I only know I do now and I’m grateful.
