			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>I<a href="http://delicioushealing.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Women-stuck-in-box.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-2734" title="Woman stuck in a box" src="http://delicioushealing.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Women-stuck-in-box-300x211.jpg" alt="" width="173" height="121" /></a> had a client “who really, really wanted to get better”</strong>, and couldn’t understand why she was still stuck with various niggles despite various efforts to improve her health.  <span id="more-2733"></span></p>
<p><strong>The trouble with wanting to get better</strong> is that as long as we put out the energy of wanting – through thoughts, feelings etc – we attract more wanting, and a vicious circle emerges.</p>
<p><strong>The way out of this trap is to change your energy – thoughts, feelings etc – from those of wanting to those of having.</strong> This takes a bit of a leap of faith, particularly if you’ve been in the habit of wanting for a long time. The reward is that when you generate the energy of having, you attract a matching reality of getting what you want.</p>
<p><strong>The other day I felt a niggling pain in my thigh as I was walked downhill</strong>. I quickly changed my energy from “<em>I wish this would go away</em>” to “<em>My leg is comfortable walking down this hill</em>”, and the pain immediately disappeared! I did the same walk today, and the pain did not reapp</p>
<h3><strong>Four ways to move from wanting to having.</strong></h3>
<h4>1. Used correctly, <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/one-command/">The One Command</a> completely circumvents the trap of wanting.</h4>
<p>This is because you word your command as if it is already fulfilled, ie you already have it.</p>
<p>So, the Command to resolve a pain in your leg could be: <em></em></p>
<p><em>I don’t know how my leg is easy and comfortable, I only know it is now, and I am grateful.</em></p>
<p>You’ve moved your thinking from wanting to having, and the One Command process takes care of the rest.</p>
<p><strong>Remember the easy and fail-safe way to find your command is always to ask yourself <em>What would I like instead?</em></strong>. Again this moves you from wanting to having.</p>

<h4>2. <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/sedona-method/">The Sedona Method</a> has a neat way to let go of wanting.</h4>
<p>With the Sedona Method you ask yourself questions to let go of unwanted emotions and thoughts.</p>
<p>Ask yourself:<em></em></p>
<p><em>Would I rather <strong>want</strong> to be better, or <strong>be</strong> better?</em></p>
<p>If you would prefer to be better, use the Sedona sequence to release the wanting:</p>
<ul>
<li>First allow the wanting to be present, including all thoughts, feelings and sensations it brings up:</li>
<li>Then ask yourself:
<ul>
<li><em>Could I let it go?</em></li>
<li><em>Would I let it go?</em></li>
<li><em>When?</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Repeat this process until the feeling of wanting has dissipated.</li>

<h4>3. The following <a href="http://www.accessconsciousness.com/index.asp">Access Consciousness</a> clearing will take you deeper into clearing the source of wanting.</h4>
<p>With Access we ask ourselves questions which bring up uncomfortable energy, and then use a clearing statement to clear that energy right back to its source.</p>
<ul>
<li>Ask yourself:
<ul>
<li><em>Everywhere you’ve misidentified and misapplied wanting as having healing, would you like to destroy and uncreate that? Yes?</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Then repeat the following clearing statement to clear the energy of wanting.
<ul>
<li><em>Right and wrong, good and bad, all 9, POC and POD, shorts, boys and beyonds.</em></li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>
<p>It doesn’t matter that the clearing statement sounds like mumbo jumbo, it’s the energy of the words which does the clearing. You can use <em>POC and POD</em> for short.</p>
<h4>If you are still wedded to wanting, <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/tat/">TAT</a> will help you get unstuck from that polarity.</h4>
<p>With TAT you hold the TAT Pose – a few points on your head, while you gently put your attention on a series of statements.</p>
<p>Using the TAT Process, Steps 1 &amp; 2 would be:</p>
<ul>
<li> Step 1: <em>I really want to heal.</em></li>
<li>Step 2: <em>I am healed</em>. You don’t need to believe the statement, you’re simply presenting it as an alternative point of view to your energy system to unstick your point of view.</li>
<li>Then follow Steps 3-9 in the usual way.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Running the Healing Bar allows you to release all your conditioning around healing:</strong> being healed, healing yourself, and offering healing to others. What would it be like to be completely open to giving and receiving healing?</p>
<p><strong>In the audio recording I’ll activate and run your Healing Bar</strong>. It’s an automatic process, rather like pressing the Delete button to send a file to the wastebin in your computer. All you need to do is find a warm comfortable place, turn up your speakers, press play and relax. It won’t even matter if you nod off, because your Healing Bar will run anyway! What else is possible?</p>
<p><strong>Caution: my voice and running your Bars have a calming and relaxing effect</strong>, so please wait until you have finished driving or operating machinery before listening.</p>
<p>10 mins</p>
<p><strong>Afterwards,</strong> your brain has done a lot of work dissipating the old conditioning, so it may need extra water, salt or sugar.</p>

Here are seven ways a <a href="http://www.accessconsciousness.com/classtype_details.asp?cid=11&amp;l=">Bars Training Day</a> is made easy for you.<span id="more-2567"></span></p>
<p><strong>First, we do some clearings at the start of the day</strong> to release any blocks you may have to learning the Bars. This ensures you’ll be receptive to the training.</p>
<p><strong>Second, there’s an inbuilt feature that tells you when the Bar is activated.</strong> For example, when you activate the healing Bar, which is in the middle of the person’s temple, you feel heat in your finger. If you don’t feel the heat you simply move your finger around till you find the heat, and your on the Healing Bar. This inbuilt feature is a great way to accommodate the unique shape of each person’s head!</p>
<p><strong>Third, you’ll give two supervised Bars sessions as part of the training</strong>, (and receive two sessions too). So you’ll have practised finding the points twice.</p>
<p><strong>Fourth, you go home with a comprehensive Manual</strong> including diagrams of all the Bars points, and a one page crib sheet for a sample Bars session.</p>
<p><strong>Fifth, in my Bars Trainings, I&#8217;m committed to ensuring participants end the day feeling confident</strong> that they can go away and run people’s Bars.  I&#8217;ll &#8216;follow the energy&#8217; to ensure your concerns are addressed.</p>
<p><strong>Sixth, participants of Bars classes often set up exchanges</strong> afterwards, so you can  practice, while benefitting from having your Bars run!</p>
<p><strong>Seventh, you can’t harm someone with The Bars</strong>. So there’s no need to worry.</p>

<h3>What are The Bars?</h3>
<p><strong>There are 32 ‘Bars’ of energy that run through and round your head</strong>. They relate to a range of aspects of your life, including Healing, Body, Money, Control, Sadness, Joy, Peace &amp; Calm, Ageing etc.</p>
<p><strong>Each Bar stores the electro-magnetic component of all the conditioning</strong> you have stored about that particular area of your life (often experienced as stress), that limits your experience of what life can be.</p>
<h3>Where do The Bars come from?</h3>
<p><strong>Gary Douglas channelled the 32 Bars</strong> in the early 90s.</p>
<p><strong>Gary is the founder of <a href="http://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/?af=1201372">Access Consciousness</a></strong>, which aims ‘to create a world of consciousness and oneness’. Access Consciousness offers thousands of tools and techniques to help you access consciousness. These tools and techniques fall into two groups: body processes – including The Bars, and verbal processing.</p>
<p><strong>Having your Bars run is the foundation of Access</strong>. It’s also a very effective stand-alone gateway to a more joyful life.</p>
<h3>Is it like Reiki?</h3>
<p><strong>No! </strong>Having your Bars run is quite different to Reiki, acupuncture, reflexology, phrenology, EFT and all other modalities.</p>
<h3>What happens in a Bars session?</h3>
<p><strong>As each Bar is activated, all the redundant conditioning you are willing to let go, automatically dissipates out of your head</strong>. Just like pressing the Delete button on your computer!</p>
<p><strong>You lie fully clothed on a couch for about an hour</strong>, while your Bars practitioner gently touches small groups of Bars on your head.</p>
<p><strong>For a distance session, you simply relax</strong> while your Bars are run ‘remotely’. Yes, I can tell you from experience, distance sessions can be just as effective as in-person sessions! <h3>What will having my Bars run do for me?</h3>
<p><strong>As you easily and effortlessly undo years of conditioning you create more space in your head, and more opportunity to be the joyful you!</strong> As a minimum you will feel very calm and relaxed. Beyond that it’s your choice how you use your new space!</p>
<h3>Will I need my Bars run more than once?</h3>
<p><strong>Ideally every two or three weeks.</strong> To return to the computer analogy, it’s good to frequently ‘clear the history’ of the points of view you’ve accumulated! That’s why it’s good to do the Bars Training, so you can set up Bars exchanges with colleagues, family and friends.</p>

<p>In the world of energy healing it’s recognised that many health issues are the manifestation of thoughts, feelings and beliefs that were once appropriate, but no longer serve us. Most of this redundant conditioning resides in our unconscious minds, so we’re largely unaware what’s sabotaging our health.<span id="more-2517"></span></p>
<p><strong><br />
There&#8217;s a multitude of energy healing methods you can use to dissolve the old beliefs</strong>, and replace them with more appropriate’ upgrades’, including my favourites: <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/eft/">EFT</a>, <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/tat/">TAT</a>, <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/one-command/">The One Command</a> and <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/sedona-method/">The Sedona Method</a>.<br />
<strong><br />
While some people achieve miraculous cures in a session or two, it often takes longer</strong> to dissolve all the old thoughts, feelings and beliefs.</p>
<p><strong>A very effective approach, that I learned through TAT, is to do a short healing session, perhaps 10 minutes, each day for 30 days.</strong> It’s rather like gradually chipping away a block of stone, slowly but surely gets there in the end.</p>
<p>Here’s how it goes for four healing methods. You could adapt the following tips  forother methods too.</p>
<h3>TAT</h3>
<p>On the first day:</p>
<ol>
<li>for Step 1 use: ‘The biggest thing that led to my health issue happened’</li>
<li>for Step 2 use:  ‘This happened, it’s over now, and I’m OK’</li>
<li>and proceed with steps 3-10 as usual.</li>
</ol>
<p>On day 2 you can use exactly the same wording, because the biggest thing from day has been healed, so the second biggest thing, is now the biggest thing. Rather like a tray dispenser, as you take one, the next one pops up.</p>
<p>Repeat the TAT process each day, for 30 days, or less if your health issue resolves more quickly.</p>
<h3>EFT</h3>
<p>On the first day consider your health issue, and see what feeling or concern comes to mind, and check how strong it is on the scale of 0-10. Tap on this feeling or concern, until you get it down to 3 or less.<br />
Repeat this process each day, always addressing the main discomfort you feel about your health issue at the time. You may find yourself addressing different aspects of the discomfort on several days</p>
<h3>The One Command</h3>
<p>On the first day, consider your health issue, and ask yourself ‘What do I want instead of this?’ Use your answer to word your Command in a positive way as if it has already happened, and then use the 6 step process to make your Command.</p>
<p>Once you have made your Command it’s done, you don’t make it again. However, you’ll probably notice more feelings, perhaps doubts coming up, so you ‘meet yourself in the moment’ by making another Command on whatever your current feeling is about the issue.</p>
<h3>The Sedona Method</h3>
<p>On the first day, bring your health issue to mind, and notice what feeling first surfaces. Use the three Sedona questions to release it:</p>
<ol>
<li>Could I let it go?</li>
<li>Would I let it go?</li>
<li>When?</li>
</ol>
<p>Then notice the next feeling that arises, and repeat the questions. Do this for 5-10 minutes, or until you feel lighter</p>
<p>Repeat this process each day, always starting with the feeling that’s uppermost in your mind about your health issue.</p>
<p><strong>This approach requires some discipline</strong>; if it starts to flag, spend your session dissolving your resistance. As your health starts to unravel, your motivation will increase!<br />
<strong><br />

<p>See which of the following tips will help your body prepare for a good night’s sleep.</p>
<h4><span id="more-2483"></span>Limit daytime naps</h4>
<p>If you take a nap or two during the day, and you have difficulty sleeping at night, try reducing or cutting out the nap, or taking it earlier in the day.</p>
<h4>Eat early</h4>
<p>A large meal late in the evening means your body is busy digesting food, rather than slowing down for the night. Aim to eat your evening meal several hours before bed time, and limit any further eating to a light snack.</p>
<h4>Limit the volume of fluid</h4>
<p>Taper off the amount you drink as the evening progresses, to minimise bathroom visits during the night.</p>
<h4>Exercise regularly</h4>
<p>Regular exercise, particularly late in the afternoon, helps your body to feel tired and ready for sleep. I slept particularly well when we had a dog, and I had a short walk last thing at night.</p>
<h4>Relax before bed</h4>
<p>Relaxing your body is a good way to help it slow down ready for sleep. There are many ways to do this, from listening to soothing music to visualising each part of your body relaxing in turn.</p>
<h4>Take a hot bath</h4>
<p>A hot bath before bed will make you feel drowsy, so you nod off easily.</p>
<h4>Get into a routine</h4>
<p>Having a bedtime routine cues your body that it’s time for sleep. So extend your habit of brushing your teeth to include other activities like a session on the chi machine, or some form of relaxation.</p>
<h4>Ask your body</h4>
<p>I’ve saved the best till last! The most effective way to be sure your body is ready for sleep is to ask what it needs you to do, or not do, to ensure a good night’s sleep. How to talk to your body? That will need to be another article!</p>

<p><strong>Maybe you’re fine in the morning, but by evening you’re ready to crash out</strong> in front of the TV. Perhaps you manage it through the week, but the weekend is a write off. Or you’ve chronically lost your oomph.<br />
<strong><br />
How would it be if you could reclaim your oomph</strong> by simply allowing all those redundant thoughts, beliefs, judgements and points of view, plus the stuck feelings and attitudes they hold in place, to run out of your brain and body into the ‘waste basket’, just as you clean up your hard drive. Simply press the ‘Delete’ button and away those files go!</p>
<p><strong>Then you’ll feel spacious and energised, with your oomph back! </strong></p>
<p><strong>It’s as easy as that!</strong> No going into past memories or reliving incidents, simply allowing what you no longer need to drain away. Which is probably why <strong>‘Amazing</strong>’ is the most frequent response I get after I’ve run someone’s Bars.<br />
<strong><br />
There are 32 points on your head which relate to different areas of your life</strong>, such as healing, peace &amp; calm, creativity, control and ageing. When these points are lightly touched, the Bars turn on, and your redundant ‘files’ dissipate, freeing up all the energy you’ve been using to hold those thoughts, beliefs, judgements and points of view locked in place.</p>
<p><strong>You simply lie on your back and relax while your Bars are run.</strong> You may notice some sensations, or simply feel yourself relaxing as the session progresses. At worst you’ll feel as if you’ve had a massage, at best your life will change! You’ll definitely have more oomph!<br />
<strong><br />
The Bars run equally well ‘at a distance’.</strong> My Bars buddy, in France, was very surprised that she could feel me run her Bars from Scotland, just as she does in an in-person session.</p>

Then you get anxious that you won’t be able to function the next day. On and on it goes.</p>
<p><strong>How would it feel to be to go to sleep easily</strong>, and stay asleep until you wake feeling refreshed?<br />
<span id="more-2416"></span><br />
<strong>When your mind is keeping you awake</strong>, your thoughts are probably focused on something that happened in the past – such as a meeting that didn’t go well last week, or the future – such as resolving a conflict with a friend tomorrow.</p>
<p><strong>The key to a calm mind – that will allow you to sleep &#8211; is to bring yourself into the present moment</strong>, where thoughts about the past and future evaporate.</p>
<h3>Three ways to a calm mind</h3>
<p>Here are three very different approaches to calm your mind. See which one works for you.</p>
<h4>1. Use the TAT Pose</h4>
<p>The TAT Pose, which forms the basis of the <a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/tat/">Tapas Acupressure Technique</a>, is a simple way to place your hands on the front and back of your head, that quickly takes you into a more calm and peaceful state.</p>
<p>We’ll use the Child’s version of the Pose which is easier to hold in bed. Cradle the back of your head in one hand with your thumb along your hairline at the top of your neck. Place the other palm across your forehead, low down so the edge of your hand touches the bridge of your nose.</p>
<p>Relax, and notice yourself feeling progressively more calm….</p>
<h4>2. Open up your heart</h4>
<p>Most of your thinking goes on in your head, so it&#8217;s a good idea to take your attention elsewhere!</p>
<p>As you breathe out, allow your attention to drop down to your heart area. On each outbreath, mentally say ‘Aaah’ to yourself – the sound that opens up your heart. Allow your heart to expand and open.<br />
If your attention wanders, gently bring it back to your heart, and continue to open it more, and feel yourself becoming more calm.</p>
<h4>3. Sense the aliveness in your body</h4>
<p>First, ask yourself ‘ Am I still breathing?’ That question quickly brings your focus to your body, and the present moment.</p>
<p>Then take your attention to your toes, and notice how they feel – see if you can sense the edges of your toes. Then see if you can feel the energy, or aliveness, inside your toes.</p>
<p>Repeat this sensing of aliveness for the rest of your foot, then your ankles, then your lower leg. Slowly move up your body sensing the aliveness in each part. Hopefully you won’t get too far before you nod off!</p>
<p><strong>The Delicious Nugget: </strong>When a spinning mind stops you from sleeping, you can calm it down by: using the TAT Pose, opening your heart, or sensing the aliveness in your body.</p>

<p><strong>So, how would you like to generate your own free form healing? </strong><span id="more-2347"></span><br />
<strong><br />
For the healing methods I’m familiar with, I’m noticing distinct parallels</strong>, for example the technique of expanding your consciousness features in different guises in The One Command and TAT.<br />
<strong><br />
I’m also noticing that many of the newer methods are concise and simple</strong>, and often completed in a few minutes, and that the instructors say ‘You can’t do it wrong’.</p>
<p>Since each method comprises a ritual to do the same thing, which is to facilitate healing, <strong>there’s plenty of scope to make up your own ritual.</strong></p>
<p><strong>It’s rather like using a computer drawing programme</strong> – you can use the pre-set shapes of square, circle etc, or you can go for ‘freeform’ drawing, where you create a shape to meet your unique needs.</p>
<h3>Elements for Free Form Healing</h3>
<p>Here are some components to consider as you generate your Free Form Healing. I suggest you read them through to spark your ideas, then go with whatever comes up as you do your own healing.</p>
<h4>Dissolving stoppers (limiting beliefs)</h4>
<p><em>‘I’m not sure this will work for me’</em><br />
<strong>Any doubts about being able to heal, or whether the healing ‘will work’ will sabotage your healing.</strong> So it’s a good idea to dissolve any stoppers at the outset.</p>
<p>If you feel stuck here, there may be unconscious stoppers at work, which a healing practitioner can help you dissolve.</p>
<h4>Accessing your Infinite Being</h4>
<p><em>You are an Infinite Being having a human experience.</em><br />
Healing takes place when you access your expanded state of Infinite Being – the more expansive you extends way beyond your human body. You may prefer to use another name, such as Source, Higher Self, Universe, Spirit, Presence, Awareness.</p>
<p><strong>Some ways to access your Infinite Being are</strong>: tapping (<a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/eft/">EFT</a>), rolling your eyes up to achieve the theta state (<a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/one-command/">One Command</a>), yoga’s yin breath, the<a href="http://delicioushealing.com/methods/tat/"> TAT Pose</a>, meditation, or simple allowing yourself to ‘Be’.</p>
<p>If this is new to you, I’ve found the TAT Pose is a very quick way for people to achieve their Infinite Being-ness. Simply hold the TAT Pose for a few minutes, and see what happens.</p>
<h4>Dissolving the discomfort</h4>
<p>Your discomfort is your indicator that you’re out of alignment with your Infinite Being.</p>
<p><strong>Once you’ve accessed your Infinite Being state, you’re linked with your intuition, so trust whatever comes into your head</strong>, and go with it. Be prepared to play with free form drawing rather than pre-defined autoshapes!</p>
<p>You may find yourself visualising yourself healing, eg being showered with healing energy, tiny people brushing your arteries clean. You may find yourself bathed in a colour. You may feel prompted to tap points on your body, or place your hands on a part of your body. You may want to hold a silent conversation with someone. You may simply feel you need to spend time in that calm place. You’ll probably be prompted towards something quite different! Trust whatever comes into your awareness and follow it.</p>
<h4>Making a choice or intention</h4>
<p><strong>If you like, incorporate an intention at the beginning of your healing, or a choice for a new state of being towards the end</strong>.</p>
<p>Some healing methods, like The One Command, set an intention at the start, and focus on the outcome rather than the problem. Others, like TAT, involve making a choice after the discomfort has been dissolved. Yet others, such as Reconnective Healing and Quantum Touch, leave the outcome to be guided by your Infinite Being.</p>
<p><strong>The Delicious Nugget:</strong> Most healing methods are largely made up of ‘rituals’ which enable us to access our Infinite Being state where healing takes place. You can generate your own Free Form Healing, by accessing your Infinite Being, following your intuition, and incorporating whatever comes into your awareness.</p>
